We coordinated multiple trips to provide food, supplies, and medicines to Indigenous Communitiesi during the pandemic. We also coordinated with partners to hire a nurse technician to visit the communities to assess the health situation, share information about Covid and distribute medicines. She also delivered pulse oximeters to communities and trained them on how and when to use them.

In response to a request made directly to Share International from Indigenous bilingual schoolteachers, we worked with our partners to procure and distribute 30 AM/FM radios to communities on the Purus River so that children can attend school remotely due to Covid-19
